Aloha Nui Loa from Texas

ALOHA NUI LOA TO ALL!!!!

Well the Halau in Texas is going strong our Texas dancers are working hard at learning the Art
of Hula. We practice every Fridays. The Texas dancers
had an opportunity to perform for a Corp Company picnic in Dallas it was for OutReach Health Services. We had a great time and the dancers did so well. We also performed for a going away party for a dear friend and her son, we are going to miss them.

We have about 15 dancers currently, we hope to add more dancers to the Halau. Son in law Aaron helps out with our sound system. Son Matthew now is our conch shell blower he does a great job too. Little Madison our grand daughter has also joined the Halau. We hope the rest of the grand kids will hula with us too. Kaden tries but he has stage fright. Aria wants to but kinda does her own thing for right now oh well she is only 19 months but in her little mind she is a Hula Dancer!

Beginner's Hula Classes is now available at the Harker Heights Parks and Recreation on Wednesdays at 6pm. There is a large population here in Killeen, Tx of Polynesians, we have yet to find out about Hawaiian/Polynesian Festivals we are sure they have them just have to find out where and when.

A Big Pumehana Aloha Nui Loa to our Birds of Paradise in Arizona we sure miss all of you!!!!!!!!
